The spreading of graphic vandalism does not spare monuments and the superficial view of all those who limit the problem of removing graffiti to the routine maintenance of street furniture, which may cause further damages and rarely solves a problem that should be tackled professionally. The use of paint and/or felt-pens may seriously damage monuments as any removing system, both mechanical and chemical, inevitably involves a change in the physical characteristics of the
